When the end of August arrives, we usually feel that summer is slowly coming to an end.
But nature doesn't always follow the calendar.
This year, on August 31, we found ourselves giving the vineyard another day of irrigation. Even at the very end of summer, the conditions showed us that the vines still needed some additional water.
For us, it is another reminder that working in a vineyard is not simply about following the calendar. It is about observing the soil, the vines, and the conditions around them.
As the grapes continue to develop and slowly approach harvest, giving the vines the right care at the right time remains essential. And when nature asks for a little extra help — we listen.
August 31. Summer may be coming to an end, but caring for the vineyard continues.
Because, in the end, nature always has the final word. 🍇🌿
